The fuel consumption of this Fiat Panda 2003 1.2 4x4 in combined mode (combining urban and highway driving) is 6.6 litres per 100km (15.2 km/l), fuel consumption in city - 7.9 l/100km, highway fuel economy - 5.8 l/100km. Fuel tank capacity is 30 litres or 7.93 gallons, which gives a mileage up to 440 kilometers without refueling in urban cycle I have a 56 plate Panda Active 1.1. It is mainly used for travelling 4 miles to work typically driving at around 50 mph and then 4 miles back home. used at weekends on slightly longer journeys of around 10 miles one way. No silly driving, rarely faster than 50 mph and no daft breaking i fill Try strapping that down with zip ties as it could be creating enough misfire to mess up the fuel consumption. The O2 sensor reads oxygen in exhaust gas. If there is too much O2, the ECU adds more fuel. If you have some cylinders not sparking, the unused oxygen causes the engine to run extremely rich. I got my panda trekking multijet 2 months ago and have just reached 4000 miles of varied driving Consumption since new has been pretty consistent. ..the newness now been offset with enthusiasm . Over the 4k miles average has been 64 mpg (using fill ups and miles) rather than just on board What is the fuel economy, Fiat Panda (ZAF 141, facelift 1991) 0.9 ie (40 Hp)? 5.9 l/100 km 39.87 US mpg 47.88 UK mpg 16.95 km/l:

Believe it or not, I had bought a Fiat with poor spark plugs too. The previous owner was pretty clueless. The car was running a little too rich due to poor sparks and then ECU started to lean the mixture. It was all well within the boundaries, passed the emissions too but with borderline HC. No high fuel consumption either. Car was just powerless.
written by pbass999 on 16/03/2009. The Fiat Panda 1.1 Active is great value. Drives well. Very practical. 100% reliable. Very lucky to have a first rate supplying/servicing dealer. Have done over 26K miles in two years from purchase new so any niggling problems would have shown up by now. Brilliant cheap package.

If you have one or more bad Coil Packs, itโ€™ll cause the acceleration of the Panda to be weaker, and youโ€™ll probably feel a jerking sensation. 3. Fuel Economy. The less efficient the combustion of your engine, the more fuel is going to be wasted. This leads to a decrease in fuel economy.

(Later could be milliseconds) The injection system needs to know the engine temp, as one of its inputs to determine the correct fuel quantity to inject. If the temp sensor lies, the fuel injected is wrong.
