Euro 6. European Union (EU) legislation sets out exhaust emissions standards for new vehicles sold in the EU. They govern the limits on pollutants emitted in vehicle exhaust gas (sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and diesel exhaust particulates). Since September 2015, all passenger carrying vehicles

T6 Guru. 7 Jun 2021. #1. Van spec: MY18 204tdi DSG, covered 43k. During the warranty period the EGR has been flushed 7 times, approximately every 6k miles. The last flush was done in January 2020. Each time the fault code was P0401 EGR insufficient flow. The warranty expired in February and the van is now showing the same fault.

mmi. Yes, engine is reading AdBlue level correctly (the sensor is wired to engine controller) and calculates the range based on level and on earlier AdBlue consumption. However, the dash display (17-Instruments) tells something else. Without the issue the range in engine and dash display (17-Instruments) are the same.

By the time I got it I was down to 100km in the tank. I then added 10L of adblue but the gauge never reset. I rang VW and they said there was no issue but it took a minimum of a three quarter capacity fill to reset the gauge. So if it’s a 20L tank and you don’t refill by at least 15L it doesn’t reset.

To access this, you will need to open the passenger door. To fill the AdBlue tank, simply take the AdBlue tank cap off, put it to one side, and attach an anti-spill nozzle to the AdBlue container. Slowly pour the AdBlue from the container into the tank. It is advisable to check the ‘AdBlue’ range on the dashboard every 30 seconds so that
Anyway with the Adblue topped up the 30 second reset did not remove the orange light or reset the levels so out comes VW assist. Took the panels off underneath the Adblue tank and hit it, drained 3 litres of Adblue to make sure there is an air gap (apparently needed) and a full regen.
Had an Adblue update about a year ago now after a warning light popped up - first drive after the update the range fluctuated a fair amount but levelled out shortly after. Consumption has been somewhat good ever since, only had one top up. As for the 8 refills they should’ve given you a sheet of paper with these on to redeem.
The update with the free refills is not a fix for the false reading AdBlue sensor, it's an emissions fix where the emissions are too high during regeneration, so the software fix is to inject lots more AdBlue during regeneration and hence more used over the life of the vehicle. so the free refills are compensation.

AdBlue für VW Bus T 6 kaufen und nachfüllen. AdBlue muss in die VW T 6 Busse, die einen TDI-Motor haben. Wir erklären, wo man das AdBlue kaufen kann & wann u 31103 is just VW's own code for P20EE, thus only 1 fault there. Anyways, there is an engine software update (version 6166) available for your CXHA engine. The update should cure false alarms of this fault - among other things. The trick is to inject some more AdBlue to reduce NOx emissions (more). T6 Legend. 30 Aug 2021. #8. Tic tac said: Thought mine did 6k,before top up. Is the 6.1 AdBlue tank smaller? They all do around 4500-6000 miles on a fill. But the first warning is around 1500 miles remaining. After that it nags you all the way down to empty, at which point it won’t start. The procedure to reset the AdBlue warning light on the Volkswagen Transporter is done by refilling the additive liquid into the appropriate tank. The vent for this tank is located immediately below the fuel tank vent.

Adblue is a different issue on the dash the vehicle will display how much adblue it requires either in liters or gallons depending on your country but this can be changed by the user. The adblue level is worked out by an ultrasonic sensor the problem with this is if you over fill the adblue then the tank thinks it’s empty and the system shuts

T6 Guru. 6 May 2023. #10. Engine management warning light reappeared today. Despite adding 5L of AdBlue earlier in the week the dash display is showing that the van has 6,500 miles of AdBlue miles remaining. Exactly the same number it showed before adding the 5L. GoIVdz.
