2.5 in mazda 3 is very equivelant to a v6 in bigger cars like accord. They are also very much like a turbo charged engines as they provide lots of power as low as 1500 rpm. I believe 2.5 has the supperior on low rev daily driving and ver high speeds. In between the difference is close to nothing.
